Inspection

INSPECTION

1. Inspect oil drain plug and plug hole for stripped or damaged threads and repair as necessary. Install a new drain plug gasket. Tighten to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
2. Inspect oil pan mounting flange for bends or distortion. Straighten flange if necessary.
3. Inspect condition of oil screen and pick-up tube, clean or replace as necessary.
