Engine Coolant Thermostat-Installation-3.8L Engine

1 - THERMOSTAT HOUSING
2 - THERMOSTAT
  1. Position thermostat (2) in thermostat housing (1).

    3 - THROTTLE BODY ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
  2. Install thermostat housing and thermostat assembly on intake manifold. Tighten bolts (1) to 28 N.m (250 in. lbs.).
  3. Install the radiator upper hose to thermostat housing (2).
  4. Connect throttle body electrical connector (3).
  5. Refill the cooling system to the proper level. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  6. Connect negative battery cable.
  7. Install air filter housing. Refer to INSTALLATION .
