Belt TENSIONERS-Removal-2.8L Diesel

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove accessory drive belt. See REMOVAL .
  3. Using a suitable tool, hold accessory drive belt tension and remove pin.
  4. Slowly release accessory drive belt tensioner to the free arm position.
  5. Remove belt tensioner retaining bolt and remove accessory drive belt tensioner.
