Accessory Drive Belts-Removal-2.8L Diesel

CAUTION: Do not let tensioner arm snap back to the free arm position, severe damage may occur to the tensioner.

Disconnect negative battery cable.
Using a suitable tool, rotate accessory drive belt tensioner until holes on arm and base are aligned.
Insert pin into hole to lock tensioner in place.
Remove accessory drive belt.
