Instrument Panel: Cover: Removal: Cover

  1. Remove the center console. See REMOVAL .
  2. Disconnect the center harness (1) electrical connectors and position aside.
  3. Remove the amplifier. Refer to REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the steering column as necessary. Refer to REMOVAL .

  5. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, remove the end caps (1).
  6. Remove the center trim. See REMOVAL .
  7. Remove the radio. Refer to REMOVAL .
  8. Remove the glove box. See REMOVAL .
  9. Remove the upper I/P tweeter speakers. Refer to REMOVAL .
  10. Remove the cluster bezel. See REMOVAL .
  11. Remove the passenger air bag. Refer to REMOVAL .
  12. Remove the glove box striker.
  13. Remove the screws securing the cover to the I/P reinforcement and remove the cover.
