Differential Cover

Apply a 6.35 mm (1/4 in.) bead of Mopar Silicone Rubber Sealant (2) or equivalent to the housing cover (1).
CAUTION: If housing cover is not installed within 3 to 5 minutes, the cover must be cleaned and new RTV applied. Failure to follow these instructions will result in a leak.

Install differential cover (2) and identification tag. Tighten cover bolts in a crisscross pattern to 41 N.m (30 ft. lbs.).
Fill differential to specifications.
Install fill plug (1) and tighten to 34 N.m (25 ft. lbs.).
