Disc Brake Caliper Adapter - Front

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the front wheel and tire assembly.

  3. Remove the caliper (4) from the adaptor (3). See REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the disc brake caliper (1) from the adapter (4).
    CAUTION: Never allow the disc brake caliper to hang from the brake hose. Damage to the brake hose will result. Provide a suitable support to hang the caliper securely.

  5. Remove the inboard (2) and outboard brake pads (3). See REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the caliper adapter mounting bolts (1).
  7. Remove the caliper adapter (4).
