Diagnostic Test

1) NO RESPONSE - PCI BUS - SKIM
Turn the ignition on.

NOTE: Ensure that the vehicle is equipped with the SKIM feature before proceeding with this test.

With the scan tool, attempt to communicate with the SKIM module.

Was the scan tool able to I/D or communicate with the SKIM module?

Yes
1. The condition is not present at this time. Monitor scan tool parameters while wiggling the related wire harness. Refer to any Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) that may apply. Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connector terminals.
2. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
1. Refer to appropriate COMMUNICATION DTC in appropriate ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTICS article.
2. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
