Diagnostic Test

1) BAD ANTENNA CONNECTION
Turn the ignition off.

Disconnect the Radio Antenna connector.

Inspect the Radio Antenna connection.

Was the Antenna connection clean and tight?

Yes
1. Go to step 2).
No
1. Repair Antenna connection as needed.
2. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
2) TEST ANTENNA
Refer to AUDIO/VIDEO - SERVICE INFORMATION and test the Antenna in accordance with the service procedure.

Is the Antenna OK?

Yes
1. Go to step 3).
No
1. Repair or replace the Antenna assembly as necessary.
2. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
3) RADIO
NOTE: Reconnect all previously disconnected components.

Turn the ignition and Radio on.

NOTE: Move vehicle outside approximately 30 ft. from any structure.

With the Scan Tool, erase the audio DTC's, put the radio in seek up and seek down mode for approximately 2 minutes before proceeding.

With the Scan Tool, read the audio DTC's.

Did this DTC reset?

Yes
1. Replace the Radio.
2. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
1. Test Complete.
