| 2 | Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the Rear Defogger Switch. Measure resistance of the Fused Rear Window Defogger Relay Output circuit to ground. Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms? Yes --> Repair the Fused Rear Window Defogger Relay Output circuit for a short to ground condition. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . No --> Replace Fuse Block fuse #17. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . |

| 3 | Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the Rear Defogger Switch. Remove the Rear Window Defogger Relay. Ensure that Fuse Block fuse #17 is installed. Measure resistance of the Fused Rear Window Defogger Relay Output circuit from the relay output terminal to the Defogger Switch connector. Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms? Yes --> Replace the Rear Window Defogger Switch. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . No --> Repair the Fused Rear Window Defogger Relay Output circuit for an open condition. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . |
