DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION AND PROCEDURES - SDARS INOP NO CODES

| 1 | Turn the ignition on. With the DRBIII®, read the SDARS subscription status. Does the subscription status read "subscribed?" Yes --> Go To 2 No --> Customer has not subscribed to this feature. No repair at this time. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . |

NOTE:
Diagnose and repair any DTCs before continuing. Disconnect the Satellite Radio Receiver harness connectors.Turn the ignition on and the radio on.Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, probe the Fused B+ circuit.Does the test light illuminate brightly?Yes --> Go To 3No --> Repair the Fused B+ circuit for an open. Check related fuses, if fuse is open, repair short to ground.Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . |

| 3 | Disconnect the Satellite Radio Receiver harness connectors. Turn the ignition and the radio on. Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, probe the Fused Ignition Switch Output circuit. Does the test light illuminate brightly? Yes --> Go To 4 No --> Repair the Fused Ignition Switch Output circuit for an open. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . |

| 4 | Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the Satellite Radio Receiver harness connectors. Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, probe the Ground circuit. Does the test light illuminate brightly? Yes --> Go To 5 No --> Repair the Ground circuit for an open. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . |

| 5 | If there are no other possible causes remaining, view repair. Repair Replace Satellite Radio Receiver in accordance with the service information. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 . |
