Doors - Rear: WATERSHIELD: Removal

Remove the trim panel from the inside of the rear door (Refer to BODY/DOORS - REAR/TRIM PANEL - REMOVAL) .

If equipped, remove the speaker from the inside of the rear door (Refer to ELECTRICAL/AUDIO/SPEAKER - REMOVAL) .

Disconnect wire harness connector from speaker.

CAUTION: Do not allow the watershield adhesive to become stretched, broken or contaminated with dirt or other foreign substances. If the watershield becomes contaminated or damaged, replace it. Also, if there are any materials applied to the watershield (i.e. tape, patches, etc.), replace it.
Carefully remove the watershield (1) from around the perimeter of the door (2).
Separate the watershield from the interior handle actuator rod and the door wire harness and remove the watershield.
