Adapter Housing Seal: Removal

  1. Remove the transfer case (Refer to TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE - REMOVAL) (NV 231 or 241) or (Refer to TRANSMISSION/TRANSFER CASE - REMOVAL) (NV242) .
  2. Using a screw mounted in a slide hammer, remove the adapter housing seal.
