Rear Wheel Opening Flare Moldings: Removal

Raise and support the vehicle. (Refer to LUBRICATION & MAINTENANCE/HOISTING - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
Remove the wheel.
Open the rear door and remove the five rivets (2) from the inside surface of the door. See Fig 1.

Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, separate the clips attaching the molding to the door and remove the molding.

3 - RIVETS (5 PER SIDE)

4 - REAR FLARE MOLDING

Remove the 5 rivets (3) from the rear flare (4) and splash shield (2). See Fig 2.
Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, separate the clips (1) attaching the molding (4) to the body and the rear fascia and remove the molding.
