Diagnostic Test

  1. 1)  KEY NOT PROGRAMMED 

    Turn the ignition on.

    Using a scan tool, attempt to program the key(s) into the SKREEM.

    Was the programming of the key(s) successful? 

    Yes 

    1. Programming of the key(s) were successful. Test complete.
    2. Perform SKREEM VERIFICATION . . (Refer to ELECTRICAL/VEHICLE THEFT SECURITY - STANDARD PROCEDURE) 

    No 

    1. Replace the ignition key and attempt to program it into the SKREEM. If the DTC resets, replace and program the SKREEM in accordance with the Service Information.
    2. Perform SKREEM VERIFICATION . . (Refer to ELECTRICAL/VEHICLE THEFT SECURITY - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
