Section 546 (5.7L Engine (Service Information)): Solenoid-MDS: Installation

  1. Install MDS solenoid fully into block.
  2. Install hold down bolt and torque to 11 N.m (97 in. lbs.).
  3. Reconnect the MDS wiring harness to the solenoids.
  4. Install the intake manifold. (Refer to ENGINE/MANIFOLDS/INTAKE MANIFOLD - INSTALLATION) .
