Front Axle - C200FE: Installation

- Raise axle to vehicle.
- Install differential cover bracket bushing (2) bolts (1) and tighten bolts to 47 N.m (35 ft. lbs.)
- Install axle tube bushing (2) bolt (1) and nut. Tighten nut to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.)
- Install differential bushing (2) bolt (1) and nut. Tighten nut to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.)
- Install ELSD connector (1) and differential vent hose (2).
1 - SHOCK 2 - BOLT 3 - CLEVIS BRACKET 4 - BOLT/NUT - Install half shaft into axle and knuckles. Verify axle are engaged in the axle.
- Install clevis (3) bolt and nut (4) on lower control arms and tighten to specification.
1 - NUT 2 - BOLT 3 - STABILIZER LINK 4 - OUTER TIE ROD END 5 - NUT 6 - BOLT - Install upper control arms on knuckles and tighten ball joint nuts to specifications.
- Install tie rod ends (4) and nuts (5) on knuckles and tighten to specifications.
- Install stabilizer bar links (2) and bolts (6) on lower control arms and tighten to specifications.
1 - WHEEL SPEED SENSOR WIRE 2 - NUT 3 - HUB/BEARING - Install brake calipers on knuckles.
- Install wheel speed sensor (1) on hub/bearing (3).
- Install half shaft hub nuts and tighten to 135 N.m (100 ft. lbs.).
- Install propeller shaft on pinion flange with reference marks aligned.
- Install drain plug and tighten to 60 N.m (44 ft. lbs.).
- Fill differential housing and install fill plug. Tighten plug to 60 N.m (44 ft. lbs.).
- Install skid plate.
