Section 540 (Body - Interior & Exterior): Liftgate: Panel-Trim: Installation

Check to be certain that the push-in plastic fasteners (3) are properly installed and in good condition on the inside of the trim panel (2).
Install the lamp into the liftgate trim panel and connect electrical connector.

Using hand pressure, press firmly and evenly on the trim panel (2) over each of the push-in plastic fastener (3) locations until the fasteners are fully engaged in the holes on the inside of the liftgate.
Install and tighten the screws (1 and 4) that secure the trim panel (2) to the inside of the liftgate. Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 in. lbs.).
Reconnect the battery negative cable.
