Release-Hood Latch: Installation

Route the hood release cable through the cowl panel and install the grommet.
Position the hood release handle (2) onto the cowl trim panel.
Install the two bolts (2) that secure the hood release handle (1) to the instrument panel bracket. Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).

Route the hood release cable (2) along the left inner fender and the upper radiator crossmember and install the three hood release cable retainers (1).
Install the hood latch (Refer to BODY/HOOD/LATCH - INSTALLATION) .
