Fluid Cooler - 3.7L & 4.7L

1 - RETURN HOSE
2 - FLUID COOLER
3 - PRESSURE HOSE
  1. Position and install the power steering cooler (2) with hoses (1&2) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the cooler mounting bolt (2).

    1 - PUMP ASSEMBLY
    2 - PRESSURE HOSE PUMP TO GEAR
    3 - RETURN HOSE - RESERVOIR TO FLUID COOLER
    4 - FLUID COOLER
    5 - RETURN HOSE - STEERING GEAR TO FLUID COOLER
    6 - MOUNTING BRACKETS
    7 - STEERING GEAR
  3. Reconnect the steering gear return line (5) from the gear to the cooler.
  4. Reconnect the reservoir return hose (3) to the cooler.
  5. Refill the power steering fluid and bleed the system, (Refer to STEERING/PUMP - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
  6. Start engine and check for leaks.

  7. Install the grille and the 6 grille push pins (1).
  8. Install the hood weather-strip seal (2) at the radiator cowl.
