Front Disc Brake Caliper

  1. Raise and support vehicle.
  2. Remove front wheel and tire assembly.
  3. Drain small amount of fluid from master cylinder brake reservoir with clean  suction gun.

    1 - ROTOR
    2 - CALIPER ADAPTER
    3 - ANTI RATTLE CLIPS
    4 - DISC BRAKE PADS
    5 - DISC BRAKE CALIPER
  4. Bottom caliper pistons into the caliper (5) by prying the caliper over.

    2 - CALIPER BOLTS
    3 - CALIPER ADAPTER BOLTS
    4 - ADAPTER
    5 - BRAKE HOSE
    6 - BANJO BOLT WITH COPPER WASHERS
  5. Remove brake hose banjo bolt and gasket washers (6). Discard gasket washers.
  6. Remove the caliper slide bolts (2).
  7. Remove the caliper (1) from the adapter (4).
