Disc Brake Caliper Adapter: Installation

1 - CALIPER ADAPTER
2 - KNUCKLE
3 - CALIPER ADAPTER BOLTS
4 - ROTOR
  1. Install the caliper adapter mounting bolts (3). Tighten the mounting bolts to 169 N.m (125 ft.lbs).
  2. Install the inboard and outboard pads. (Refer to BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/BRAKE PADS/SHOES - INSTALLATION) .

    1 - CALIPER
    2 - CALIPER BOLTS
    3 - CALIPER ADAPTER BOLTS
    4 - ADAPTER
    5 - BRAKE HOSE
    6 - BANJO BOLT WITH COPPER WASHERS
  3. Install the caliper (1) (Refer to BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/DISC BRAKE CALIPERS - INSTALLATION) .
  4. Install the tire and wheel assembly. (Refer to TIRES/WHEELS/WHEELS - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
