Section 534 (Suspension System (Service Information)): Rear: Shock: Installation

1 - UPPER SHOCK BOLT

2 - SHOCK

3 - LOWER SHOCK BOLT

4 - SPRING

Install the shock absorber (2) in the frame bracket and install the bolt (1) and nut.

Install the shock absorber (1) in the axle bracket (2) and install the bolt and nut.
Tighten the upper mounting nuts to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.). Tighten the lower mounting nuts to 115 N.m (85 ft. lbs.).
Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
