Clevis Bracket: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the tire.
1 - CALIPER 2 - CALIPER BOLTS 3 - CALIPER ADAPTER BOLTS 4 - ADAPTER 5 - BRAKE HOSE 6 - BANJO BOLT WITH COPPER WASHERS - Remove the two brake caliper adapter bolts (3).
- Support the brake caliper adaptor and caliper. Do not allow the caliper to hang by the brake hose.
- Remove the disc brake rotor.
1 - UPPER CONTROL ARM 2 - UPPER BALL JOINT 3 - KNUCKLE 4 - UPPER BALL JOINT NUT - Remove the upper ball joint nut (4).
- Separate the upper ball joint (2) from the knuckle (3) using special tool 8677.
1 - SHOCK 2 - BOLT 3 - CLEVIS BRACKET 4 - BOLT/NUT - Remove the clevis bolt (2) at the shock (1).
- Remove the lower clevis bolt/nut (4) at the lower control arm.
1 - NUT 2 - BOLT 3 - STABILIZER LINK 4 - OUTER TIE ROD END 5 - NUT 6 - BOLT - Remove the lower stabilizer link bolt (6).
1 - SHOCK 2 - BOLT 3 - CLEVIS BRACKET 4 - BOLT/NUT - Remove the clevis bracket (3).
