Battery Temperature Sensor: Removal

The battery temperature sensor is located under the vehicle battery and is attached to a mounting hole on battery tray. See Fig 1.

1 - BATTERY TEMPERATURE SENSOR

2 - BATTERY TRAY

3 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR

Remove battery. Refer to BATTERY SYSTEM for procedures.
Disconnect sensor pigtail harness from engine wire harness electrical connector.
Pry sensor straight up from battery tray mounting hole.
