Section 523 (Wiring Diagram Information): Connector: Removal

- Disconnect battery.
- Release Connector Lock. See Fig 1.
- Disconnect the connector being repaired from its mating half/component.
- Remove the dress cover (if applicable). See Fig 1.
1 - DRESS COVER 2 - CONNECTOR LOCK 3 - CONNECTOR - Release the Secondary Terminal Lock, if required. See Fig 2.
1 - Secondary Terminal Lock - Position the connector locking finger away from the terminal using the proper special tool. Pull on the wire to remove the terminal from the connector. See Fig 3.
