Water In Fuel Sensor: Removal

1 - FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY 6 - FUEL FILTER
2 - PRIMER BUTTON 7 - FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
3 - FUEL SUPPLY TO HIGH PRESSURE PUMP 8 - FUEL SUPPLY FROM TANK
4 - FUEL HEATER 9 - AIR BLEED SCREW
5 - WIF SENSOR
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect WIF sensor electrical connector. See Fig 1.
  3. Drain fuel filter/water separator assembly by loosening the WIF at bottom of fuel filter and opening the bleeder screw on top of the filter/separator. (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ).
  4. Unscrew WIF sensor from fuel filter/water separator assembly.
