Electronic Vehicle Info Center: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the overhead console from the headliner.
  3. Remove the four screws that secure the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) module to the overhead console housing. See Fig 1.

    1 - OVERHEAD CONSOLE HOUSING
    2 - EVIC MODULE
    3 - ILLUMINATION LAMPS
    4 - SCREWS (4)
  4. Remove the EVIC module from the overhead console housing.
NOTE: IF THE EVIC MODULE IS BEING REPLACED, THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM MUST BE PROGRAMMED. REFER TO TIRES/WHEELS FOR DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS.
