CAUTION:
Always use the correct bulb size and type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or type may overheat and cause damage to the lamp, the socket and/or the lamp wiring.
- Align the base of the bulb with the license plate lamp socket.
- Push the bulb straight into the socket until the base is firmly seated.
- Reach through the opening in the rear bumper fascia between the license plate and the lamp to align the socket and bulb with the opening on the back of the lamp housing. See Figure.
- Insert the socket and bulb straight into the housing until the socket is firmly seated.
- Reconnect the battery negative cable.
