Section 509 (Suspension System): Rear: Spring: Installation

Install the upper isolator. See Figure.
Install the lower isolator. See Figure.
Pull down on the axle and position the coil spring in the lower isolator.
CAUTION: Ensure the spring is positioned on the lower isolator.
Raise the axle with the hydraulic jack.
Install the shock absorber to the axle bracket and tighten to 115 N.m (85 ft. lbs.).
Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
Tighten the stabilizer bar links to 99 N.m (73 ft. lbs.).
