Section 506 (Rack & Pinion Power Steering System): Pump: Reservoir: Removal: 3.7L

1 - FLUID RESERVOIR
2 - RETAINING CLIP
3 - PULLEY
4 - PUMP BODY
  1. Remove the power steering pump. (Refer to STEERING/PUMP - REMOVAL) .
  2. Secure the pump in a holding fixture.
  3. Remove the retaining clips (2) by prying the lock tab upwards and tap the retaining clips (2) off the pump body (4). See Fig 1
  4. Remove the reservoir (1) from the pump body (4).
