Power Steering Pressure Switch: Removal

The power steering pressure switch (2) is installed in the power steering high-pressure hose (3). See Fig 1.
- Remove the high pressure power steering hose (3) (Refer to STEERING/PUMP/HOSES - REMOVAL) .
- Disconnect electrical connector (1) from power steering pressure switch (2).
- Place a small container or shop towel beneath switch to collect any excess fluid.
- Remove switch. Use back-up wrench on power steering line to prevent line bending.
