Power Steering Pressure Switch: Installation

1 - HIGH PRESSURE POWER STEERING HOSE
2 - POWER STEERING PRESSURE SWITCH
  1. Install power steering switch (2) into power steering line (1) and Tighten to 9.6 N.m (85 in. lbs.). See Fig 1.

    2 - PRESSURE SWITCH
    3 - HIGH PRESSURE POWER STEERING HOSE
  2. Install the high pressure power steering hose (3) (Refer to STEERING/PUMP/HOSES - INSTALLATION) . See Fig 2.
  3. Connect electrical connector (1) to the switch (2). See Fig 2.
  4. Check power steering fluid and add as necessary (Refer to STEERING/PUMP - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
  5. Start engine and again check power steering fluid. Add fluid if necessary.
