Pressure Hose

- Siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir.
- Remove the radiator crossmember (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/RADIATOR CROSSMEMBER - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the fan (Refer to COOLING/ENGINE/RADIATOR FAN - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the fan shroud.
- Remove the serpentine belt (Refer to COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - REMOVAL)

1 - RETURN HOSE 2 - HIGH PRESSURE HOSE 3 - POWER STEERING PUMP - Remove the pressure hose (2) at the pump (3). See Fig 1.
1 - HIGH PRESSURE POWER STEERING HOSE 2 - MOUNTING BRACKET - Disconnect the pressure switch electrical connector from the pressure hose 2.4L only .
- Remove the pressure hose from the gear.
- Remove the pressure hose (1) mounting bracket bolts (2) from behind the headlamp assembly. See Fig 2
- Remove the pressure hose (1) from the vehicle and transfer power steering pressure switch if necessary.
