Oil Pressure Sending Unit: Installation

1 - OIL PAN GASKET
2 - OIL PAN
3 - OIL SENDING UNIT
4 - OIL FILTER
  1. Screw oil pressure sending unit into oil pan and tighten to 14.2 N.m (126 in. lbs.). See Fig 1.
  2. Connect the electrical connector.

    2 - BOLTS (4)
  3. Install the front skid plate and tighten fasteners to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.). See Fig 2.
  4. Check and fill engine oil as necessary.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
  6. Start engine and inspect for leaks.
