Structural Collar: Installation

CAUTION: Torque procedure for the structural collar must be followed or damage could occur to oil pan and collar.
  1. Perform the following steps for installing structural collar.
    1. Step 1: Position collar between transmission and oil pan. Install collar to transmission bolts, hand start only  .
    2. Step 2: Install collar to oil pan bolts, hand snug only. 
    3. Step 3: Tighten collar to transmission bolts.
    4. Step 4: Tighten collar to oil pan bolts.
  2. Lower vehicle.
