Right Hand Drive (RHD)

- Remove the air box (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER ELEMENT - REMOVAL) .
- Relocate the cruise control servo to gain access to the booster for removal.
- Remove the brake lines from the master cylinder.
- Remove the master cylinder (Refer to BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/MASTER CYLINDER - REMOVAL) .
- Disconnect vacuum hose from booster check valve.
- Remove knee blocker under the steering column, (Refer to BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/KNEE BLOCKER - REMOVAL)

1 - BRAKE PEDAL 2 - BOOSTER ROD - Remove the brake light switch, (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/BRAKE LAMP SWITCH - REMOVAL)
- Remove retaining clip that secures booster push rod (2) to brake pedal (1). See Fig 1.
1 - BRAKE BOOSTER - Remove nuts attaching booster (1) to the dash panel. See Fig 2.
- In engine compartment, slide booster studs out of dash panel, tilt booster upward, and remove booster from engine compartment.
