Brakes - Base: Pedal: Removal

- Remove the knee blocker under the steering column, (Refer to BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/KNEE BLOCKER - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the retainer clip securing the booster push rod (5) to pedal (4). See Fig 1.
- Remove the brake lamp switch, (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/BRAKE LAMP SWITCH - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the nuts securing the pedal to the column bracket.
- Remove the pedal from the vehicle.
