Brakes - Base: Pedal: Installation

- Install the pedal (4) into the vehicle.
- Install the nuts securing the pedal to the column bracket.
- Tighten the nuts to 22.6 N.m (200 in. lbs.).
- Lubricate the brake pedal pin and bushings with Mopar multi-mileage grease.
- Install the booster push rod (5) on the pedal pin and install a new retainer clip. See Figure.
- Install the brake lamp switch, (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/BRAKE LAMP SWITCH - INSTALLATION) .
- Install the knee blocker, (Refer to BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/KNEE BLOCKER - INSTALLATION) .
