Master Cylinder: Installation

NOTE:
If master cylinder is replaced, bleed cylinder before installation.
- Clean cylinder mounting surface of brake booster (2).
- Install master cylinder (4) onto brake booster studs.
- Install mounting nuts and tighten to 25 N.m (220 in. lbs.).
- Connect the brake lines to the master cylinder and tighten to 20 N.m (180 in. lbs.).
- Connect fluid level electrical connector (3) to the reservoir (1). See Fig 1.
- Fill and bleed base brake system, (Refer to BRAKES - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
