Brakes - Base: Lever: Installation

- Install the parking brake lever assembly (2).
- Install the parking brake lever assembly (2) to the mounting bolts. Tighten. See Fig 1.
- Engage the front cables (3) to the equalizer. See Figure.
- Reconnect the parking brake lamp switch wire. See Figure.
- If installing a new parking brake lever remove the pin that comes on the lever when shipped.
- If you are reinstalling the original park brake lever remove the lock out device at this time.
- Test the parking brake lever. See Fig 1.
- Install the center floor console, (Refer to BODY/INTERIOR/FLOOR CONSOLE - INSTALLATION) .
