Disc Brake Calipers: Removal: Front

1 - DISC BRAKE CALIPER
2 - CALIPER SLIDE MOUNTING BOLTS
3 - BRAKE HOSE
4 - BANJO BOLT
5 - CALIPER ADAPTER MOUNTING BOLT
  1. Install prop rod on the brake pedal to keep pressure on the brake system.
  2. Raise and support vehicle.
  3. Remove front wheel and tire assembly.
  4. Remove the brake hose banjo bolt (4) if replacing caliper. See Fig 1.
  5. Remove the caliper mounting slide pin bolts (2). See Fig 1.
  6. Remove the caliper (1) from vehicle.
