Brakes - Base: Cables: Installation

1 - SUPPORT PLATE

2 - CABLE

3 - ACTUATOR LEVER

Install the cables(2) into the axle bracket. See Fig 1.
Reconnect the cable to the park brake lever (3). See Fig 1.

Push the cables (2) thru the floor and seat the grommets (1). See Fig 2.

1 - PARK BRAKE CABLES

2 - CARPET
Reconnect the two cables (1) to the front mount.
Lay the carpet (2) back down in the rear. See Fig 3.

Install the rear seat (Refer to BODY/SEATS/SEAT - INSTALLATION) .

Remove the lock out device (2) on the lever (1). See Fig 4.
Adjust the park brake shoes (Refer to BRAKES/PARKING BRAKE/SHOES - ADJUSTMENTS) .
Test the parking brake.
