Removal - Rear Disc Brake Pads

1 - DISC BRAKE CALIPER

2 - OUTBOARD BRAKE PAD

3 - DISC BRAKE ROTOR

4 - ANTI-RATTLE SPRING CLIP

Raise and support vehicle.
Remove the wheel and tire assemblies.
Compress the caliper (1).
Remove the caliper slide pin bolts, (Refer to BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/DISC BRAKE CALIPERS - REMOVAL) .
NOTE: Do not allow brake hose to support caliper assembly.

Remove the caliper by tilting the top up and off the caliper adapter. See Fig 1.

2 - OUTBOARD BRAKE PAD

3 - ANTI-RATTLE SPRING CLIP

4 - CALIPER ADAPTER

Support and hang the caliper.
Remove the inboard brake pad (1) from the caliper. See Fig 2.
Remove the outboard brake pad (2) from the caliper. See Fig 2.
