Cabin Heater: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Drain the engine coolant (Refer to COOLING ).
- Remove the engine accessory drive belt (Refer to COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the heater hose clamps at the viscous heater. See Fig 1.
- Remove the heater hoses from the viscous heater.
- Disconnect the wire harness connector from the viscous heater clutch.
- Remove the bolts that secure the viscous heater to the mounting bracket.
- Remove the viscous heater from the engine compartment.
