Thermostat Housing: Removal

- Drain cooling system below thermostat housing level (Refer to COOLING - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
- Remove thermostat (Refer to COOLING/ENGINE/ENGINE COOLANT THERMOSTAT - REMOVAL) .
- Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor.
- Disconnect heater supply hose.
- Remove housing attaching bolts. See Fig 1.
- Remove housing and gasket. See Fig 1.
