Diagnostic Procedure

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE - COURTESY LAMPS INOPERATIVE-ALL LAMPS

TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Gain access to the junction block C24 Harness connector.
While back probing, measure the voltage of the Courtesy Lamp Driver circuit.
Is the voltage above 10.0 volts?
Yes --> Go To 2
No --> Replace the Junction Block.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1  .

2 Using a jumper wire, test the Courtesy Lamps Driver circuit to the Junction Block C24 connector and ground.
Do the courtesy lamps come on?
Yes --> Replace the Body Control Module.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1  .
No --> Repair the Courtesy Lamp Driver circuit for an open condition.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1  .
