Diagnostic Procedure

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE - NO SKIM BUS MESSAGES RECEIVED

TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Turn the ignition on.
NOTE: Ensure that the vehicle is equipped with the SKIM feature before proceeding with this test.

With the DRBIII®, attempt to communicate with the SKIM module.
Was the DRBIII® able to I/D or communicate with the SKIM module?
Yes --> The condition is not present at this time. Monitor DRBIII® parameters while wiggling the related wire harness. Refer to any Technical Service Bulletins that may apply. Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connector terminals.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1  .
No --> Refer to the COMMUNICATION CATEGORY  for the related symptom(s).
