Diagnostic Procedure

FOG LAMP INDICATOR INOPERATIVE - DOMESTIC - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY

NOTE: Ensure that the Fog Lamps operate properly. If not, refer to EXTERIOR LIGHTS .
NOTE: The Headlamps must be on Low Beam for indicator to operate.
Turn the ignition off.Disconnect the Instrument Cluster.Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.Turn the Headlamps on and actuate the Fog Lamps.Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, check the Fog Lamp Indicator circuit.Does the test light illuminate brightly?
  1. Yes : Replace the Instrument Cluster in accordance with the Service Information.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

  2. No : Repair the Fog Lamp Indicator circuit for an open.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
