Removal & Installation

  1. Raise and support rear of vehicle. Remove rear wheels. Release parking brake. Remove caliper, and support aside with wire. See REAR BRAKE CALIPER & BRAKE PADS  . Remove plug in splash shield access hole and loosen parking brake shoe adjustment, if necessary.
  2. Remove push nuts securing rotor to axle hub studs and remove rotor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Adjust parking brake shoes. See REAR PARKING BRAKE SHOES (4-WHEEL DISC)  under ADJUSTMENTS.
